그가 아비아달 대 제사장 때에 하나님의 전에 들어가서 제사장 외에는 먹지 못하는 진설병을 먹고 함께 한자들에게도 주지 아니하였느냐(마가복음2:26)
또 가라사대 안식일은 사람을 위하여 있는 것이요 사람이 안식일을 위하여 있는 것이 아니니(:27)
이러므로 인자는 안식일에도 주인이니라.(:28)
네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에서 그 토지 모든 소산의 만물을
거둔 후에 그것을 취하여 광주리에 담고 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳으로 그것을 가지고 가서(신명기26:2)[당시 제사장에게 나아가서 그에게 이르기를 내가 오늘날 당신의 하나님께 고하나이다. 내가 여호와께서 우리에게 주리라고 우리 열조에게 맹세하신 땅에 이르렀나이다. 할 것이요.:3]
너희가 요단을 건너 네 하나님 여호와께 네게 주시는 땅에 들어가는 날에 큰 돌을 세우고 석회(石灰)를 바르라(신명기27:2)
네가 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 순종하면 이 모든 복이 네게 임하며 네게
미치리니(신명기28:2)[네가 들어와도 복을 받고 나가도 복을 받을
것이니라.:6]
그에게 인사(人事)하는 자는 그 악한 일에 참예하는 자임이니라.
